Hi, I’m Bree Kibble

I’ve worked in the event industry in a number of capacities over the last 22 years, and spent a lot of time building Storied around lessons I have learned. When I got engaged, I realized that no amount of industry experience prepares you for being a bride. It’s different when it’s your own wedding, your own money, guys, and your own story on the line.

So I became my own best case study.

I bought my wedding dress on Amazon & sourced decor from SHEIN. I carried a free wooden archway across a main road because I saw the story in it before I saw the inconvenience.

I sold things on Facebook Marketplace after our wedding because I learned the hard way that buying before you’ve set your budget and vision leads to beautiful things you have no home for.

I am not a shiny, curated wedding brand. I’m a planner by nature, a storyteller by passion, and a bride by recent experience. I built Storied because I believe your wedding should come from your story, and The Bridal Bestie because I believe a DIY bride deserves a real friend in her corner who helps her think through the nitty-gritty, not just a checklist that tells her what to buy.
